Delivery

  • PLEASE NOTE lead time varies depending upon the manufacturer. If the product(s) ordered is/are not delivered on the Estimated Delivery Date, you will be notified and given the opportunity to (i) cancel the order without payment of any cancellation fees, or (ii) accept delivery at a later specified date.
  • 1. NO C.O.D. DELIVERIES WILL BE SCHEDULED. ALL BALANCES MUST BE PAID IN FULL BY FIVE (5) BUSINESS DAYS PRIOR TO DELIVERY.
  • 2. If you postpone a scheduled delivery less than 36 hours prior to delivery date, you will be responsible for the payment of a re-staging fee in the amount of $50.00 per product and an additional delivery fee.
  • 3. If you require separate deliveries, additional delivery charges will be due for each delivery.
  • 4. Appliance World does NOT install the product unless specified in this order. Delivery fees DO NOT include installation of the product purchased.
  • 5. You are responsible for inspecting the product(s) at the time of delivery. Appliance World is not responsible for damages to the product(s) after inspection. CLAIMS FOR DAMAGES TO A PRODUCT MUST BE MADE AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY.
  • 6. THE TIME OF DELIVERY- Product(s) purchased by you pursuant to this order will be held for you for ninety (90) days from the date they are received by Appliance World. After such date, you will be charged a storage fee in the amount of $10.00 per day which shall be paid by you prior to delivery.

Delivery Options

Curbside Delivery: Trucker will remove from the truck and place products in front of your curb. Customer is completely responsible for removing the carton off of each appliance to check for any damage. Customer is also completely responsible to move all products into their home.

White Glove Delivery: Includes a 2-3 man team unpacking all products, bringing them inside your home and placing them in the room of your choice. It also includes, upon your request, recycling your old appliance and the removal of the packaging.

  • White Glove Delivery is only available in the following counties:

When shopping with Appliance World, your total satisfaction is our top priority. Most returns can be avoided before a purchase is made by confirming all measurements (including the entrance into your home as well as the area in which the appliance will be placed), the color of the unit, fuel designations (electric/natural gas/propane), and by confirming the correct voltage of the outlet that you will be using for the appliance. Appliances are not sold on a trial basis. All products are sold with manufacturers warranty ONLY. All orders are subject to availability. CANCELLED MERCHANDISE WILL INCUR A 25% RESTOCKING FEE. All floor models sold "AS IS" and cannot be returned. 14 DAYS NOTICE REQUIRED FOR ALL DELIVERIES. ANY DELIVERY CANCELLED OR POSTPONED LESS THAN 36 HOURS PRIOR TO DELIVERY DATE WILL BE CHARGED A RESTAGING FEE OF $50.00 PER PIECE PLUS DELIVERY FEE. Split deliveries will incur additional delivery charges. Customer is responsible for all installations unless otherwise noted on this invoice. IMPORTANT: Credit card maximum of $1500.00 on all invoices. Inspect ALL appliances at time of delivery for damage. CLAIMS FOR DAMAGES MUST BE MADE AT TIME OF DELIVERY. NO CODS. PURCHASES SCHEDULED FOR DELIVERY MUST BE PAID IN FULL 72 HOURS PRIOR TO THE DELIVERY DATE. Merchandise with a balance due will be removed from the delivery schedule. Products are sold with a Manufacturers Warranty ONLY unless an Extended Warranty was purchased as part of this invoice. Products are NOT SOLD on a "Trial Basis." Products ordered are specifically for you as requested. All Orders are subject to availability. Cancelled Merchandise will incur a 25% Restocking Charge. Floor Models are sold "AS IS" and cannot be cancelled or returned. They will be removed from the sales floor, paid in full with your purchase and held for you. We require "14" days notice for deliveries to be scheduled. There are NO COD Deliveries! Postponed deliveries less than 36 hours prior will be charged a Restaging Fee of $50.00 per piece plus delivery fee. Split deliveries incur additional delivery charges. Customer is responsible for all product installations unless otherwise noted on this invoice. Please inspect All Appliances at time of delivery for damages. CLAIMS FOR DAMAGES MUST BE MADE AT TIME OF DELIVERY CREDIT CARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS: A Credit Card maximum of $1500.00 on all invoices. A 3% Credit Card charge incurred from cancelled orders is to be paid by the customer. Scheduled Deliveries MUST be paid in full "5" days prior. We will call as a reminder. Deliveries with an unpaid balance will be removed from the schedule.

Return Policy

All merchandise that has been opened and/or used is non-returnable & not sold on a trial basis.

  • All merchandise must meet the following conditions for exchange, store credit or refund:
  • *Return merchandise to store within 30 days of purchase with original sales receipt.
  • *Merchandise must be in new condition, in original carton with UPC code and all packaging, accessories & manuals.
  • *Authorized credit card refunds will be applied to credit card used for purchase.
  • *Authorized refunds of payments made by cash, check or debit card are paid by check through our controllers office. Please allow approximately 14 business days for processing.

If any repairs are required, service will be done in accordance with the Manufacturers warranty. Returns are subject to payment of a (i) restocking fee in the amount of 25% of the purchase price of the product returned and (ii) 3% credit card fee, if applicable. CUSTOM ORDERS CANNOT BE RETURNED.

How to Handle Items Received Damaged

We require that all product(s) be thoroughly inspected before accepting and signing for them. To ensure you don't miss any concealed damage, be sure to inspect both the internal and external condition of the product as well pealing back all plastic covering. You are responsible to thoroughly check the condition of all products received even if you plan on setting up or installing that unit at a later date. If you observe any damage to the merchandise, REFUSE THE PRODUCT, and note the reasons on the trucker's bill of lading. Please contact us immediately so that we can have a new unit shipped out to you as quickly as possible.

Defective Merchandise

All products purchased from APPLIANCE WORLD include a full one year Manufacturer's warranty which only cover electrical and mechanical issues. Cosmetic issues are stipulated by each individual manufactures guidelines. Please review warranty information enclosed with the product for complete warranty details and contact information. The product manufacturer is solely responsible for any and all defective merchandise claims & warranties for a minimum of one (1) year. If you receive a product that is functionally defective upon first use, please contact the service number associated with the particular manufacturer. Any and all requests for repairs or replacements must be addressed directly with the manufacturer. Should you have any trouble obtaining services, contact our Customer Care Department immediately at (631) 418-1003 or e-mail us at service@applianceworld.org. Manufacturer's warranty is invalid on any residential product installed for commercial use. All product warranties are valid within the continental United States only.

Cancelling Your Order

You have the right to cancel your order within 72 hours of order placement for a full refund. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to sherril@applianceworld.org. Orders cannot be cancelled via voicemail. Requests made after 72 hours of order placement that have not yet shipped, will be reviewed and subject to a 10% cancellation fee. If you wish to cancel an order after the product(s) have shipped, but have not yet been delivered, you will be charged a minimum 25% restocking fee per item as well as all applicable shipping costs, including the return shipping charge.Orders for custom products, floor models & clearance merchandise are non-cancellable & deposits are non-refundable; all sales are final.

Disputes

In the event of a dispute, You agree to attempt to resolve the dispute by contacting Us at obteam@applianceworld.org prior to taking any other action. Failure to contact Us to attempt a dispute resolution prior to taking any other action will result in a breach of this Agreement by You. Any resolution to Your dispute will be considered by Us in good faith and You agree to abide by Our decision. Should You seek a remedy in a court of law, it will be Your responsibility to pay Our legal fees. In addition, You hereby waive any right to a trial by jury in the event of any controversy or claim relating to this Agreement. This Agreement and Your use of Our web site are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, and the New Castle County Court of Chancery of the State of Delaware will have exclusive jurisdiction over any and all disputes arising out of, relating to, or concerning this Agreement or any other controversy between You and Us. In addition to the foregoing, in the event of any breach or violation of this Agreement, We shall be entitled to enforce all of Our legal remedies for the breach or wrongful activity including, but not limited to, seeking actual damages, the maximum amount of statutory damages under applicable statutes and Acts, profits, treble damages, and attorneys' fees and costs. These remedies and damages are in addition to the monetary payments described above and/or any amounts otherwise due under this Agreement. You understand and agree that Retailer Web Services, LLC and Evolution Vertical LLC, merely maintains the web site for Us and is not a party to this contract.
