Any reviews that are not 5 star for this dishwasher are questonable. Six (6) years with no problems, at all. This dishwsher is the most quiet, most reliable, best purchase available on the market. Yes, care needs to be taken when pulling out the bottom rack otherwise the best cleaning dishwasher I have ever owned. Don't buy another brand, pay a bit more for a Bosch.

This dishwasher is extremely quiet. No need to turn up the volume on the TV which is only 25' from the washer.
Also, it has it's own hot water heater internally and does a fantastic job cleaning dishes, pots and pans.
It has performed without any issues for the last 5 years.
More than pleased with the Bosch line of products.

I have never cared for one minute about a home appliance, and yet this dishwasher is now a treasured feature in my life I would be sad to lose. It just works, and well, and quietly. And had done so for many years with no complaints. What else can be said to recommend it?

I have always had Kitchen Aid dishwashers in the past. Now that I have a Bosch I'll never switch. It's super quiet and gets the dishes very clean

I am from Germany and I love German appliances. We got a BOSCH dishwasher, Silence Plus series, paid full price at Home Depot. Less than 4 years in I can report: Pump failing, panel siding coming loose, estimated repair costs, almost $400. They make home appliances now, which fall apart after a few years to force you to buy new machines, while our landfills are growing. Super disappointed with formerly great BOSCH quality. Never again.

5 years and counting and this has been a good dishwasher. It is a little weird if you accidentally stop the cycle early, but its very quiet and does a great job!
