Bought it from lowes and had them install the unit. We never could get it to do a short cycle. Ended up calling customer service and they walked me through a series of buttons that are NOT in the owner's manual. Finally it worked and we are happy. I have bought several Bosch washers but never had this problem- but they are quite and dependable.

We are very happy we decided on purchasing a Bosch dishwasher for our new home. It has done an incredibly awesome job on cleaning our dishes and extra dirty pots and pans. Not to mention how quite it is. We are sitting only a few feet away watching television and we wouldn't even know it's running. A very smart decision to choose Bosch!

Our Bosch dishwasher was installed a month ago and we have been using it daily. We like having a third rack for small utensils on the top. The machine is very quiet and the dishes come out sparkly clean. So far, all is well. As with all appliances, the test of time will tell. Please ask us again in ten years.

Great improvement from our old fridgidar. Much quiter and an awesome job at cleaning. It's taken a little getting used to placing silverware on the top rack. But, were getting there. Great machine.

I would not own any dishwasher but a Bosch. This one is perfect, it is so quiet, you do not even hear it, thankfully a red light goes on reflected to the floor when it is on and washing! Do your self a favor and purchase this machine. The Bosch technology is superior to all other machines!

If you want a high quality dishwasher than I can only recommend Bosch. My first dishwasher I ever bought was a Bosch and I used it for 12 years prior to buying this one.
When I went in to purchase a new dishwasher, I almost bought a different brand but took a few seconds to think about it and ended up getting another Bosch. What I really love about this dishwasher is the 3 racks. The Bottom rack for plates/bowls, middle rack for cups and then the top rack that is just perfect for things like knives, utensils, and lids.
Overall, I highly recommend this dishwasher and Bosch in general.

#1 - noise level is barely audible. Onlyhear it's on when the waterempties into the sink pipes :) #2 I love the tilt drawers the multiple prongs in different directions. #3 the third drawer is do very nice for small or long items. It's so nice to be able to have dishes that actually shine. I haven't had to clean it yet so I can't say anything about that process but it has to be better than my old model. The only think I'm not as happy about is that the utinsel caddy is in the back of the drawer and not the side (or else I'm doing it wrong.)

This is the second Bosch dishwasher I have owned, and I am always amazed at how great these products are. I love that Bosch dishwashers are QUIET, I love that they thoroughly CLEAN the dishes, and I love that they are EASY TO INSTALL. I am not a super good handyman, and I was able to install this dishwasher myself. They instructions were clear and well laid out.
Yes, Bosch's are typically a little pricey compared to other brands that are out there, but a Bosch dishwasher is worth every penny!

I like that it is very quiet compared to the old dishwasher i had. Reason why i'm giving it 4 stars is because it doesn't seem to dry everything as well as the old one did. Overall, i would say that this is a good dishwasher.

My biggest complaint is how the dish rack is designed for only certain ideal shape. The way tines are laid out, there is a limited way to load soup bowls. If tines are laid down, then there is just not enough space. Tines should have more space in between. My second complaint is that there is no way of knowing what cycle the dishwasher is in as the indicator timer is turned off once the door is shut. The red floor light simply tells whether it is on or off, and nothing else (found out later that upscale model offers digital timer read out...wish I had known it, or the sales person explained the major differences, and I would have chosen the upscale model). Dishes come out clean only if perfectly loaded, otherwise there is about 20% chance of seeing unwashed food particles, especially on spoons. Finally, I wish it had an option to turn off drying cycle to save power. Oh, one more thing... the door is kind of flimsy. Unless it is opened perfectly from the center of the handle, it twists slightly to give cheap non-solid feeling. Bosch needs to hire someone like me to test their appliances!

This dishwasher works wonders and is by far better than any dishwasher we have had before. It runs really quite, cleans all of our dishes and silverware perfectly, and maximizes space. The only thing we don't care for about the unit is being able to turn it on and off. One night we noticed it the control panel flashing because it didn't know if we were going to start another load but rather we forgot to turn it off.

This is my second Bosch dishwasher and I must say I am quite disappointed in its drying cycle. All my dishes are very wet as end of cycle.. Other information I have read drects me to open the door at completion to allow drying.. What good is paying all that money on a product that does not dry even when using extra dry and sanitize!

I bought a Bosch because I had one before and I loved it, can't say that now. The bottom rack makes you load your dishes backwards and the spacing is very tight. Say you had 4 people eating dinner you couldn't put all the plates and bowls in the dishwasher at the same time because they would touch each other and be hitting each other, chipping them. Very disappointed with the design. Makes you wonder if comapnies are using cheaper materials just to get the producet out there without thinking about what it does to there reputation.

Very pleased. Extremely quiet. Does a great job on dishes and no spots on glassware.
Easy installation but I thought it was really cheap for Bosch to not include a 90 degree hose adapter, which the instructions said ws required. Then, to make matters worse, I had to by an entire installion hose kit (which I did not need) for over $20 just to get the $3 adapter.

I heard Bosch dishwashers were the best, so I did some research and ended up buying one.
So far (couple months in) it's as good as they say. The dishes are clean no matter what I leave on them and even after letting them sit dirty for a few days before washing.

This really is a great dishwasher. I am not normally picky about appliances. When my old dishwasher broke I decided to be picky. I researched BOSCH and it stated these are good dishwashers all around. I fully agree these are amazing appliances. I am very impressed. The extra slider at the top to put your siverware and utensils sold me as well.

Good dishwasher. I like the top silverwear drawer, It is very quiet and cleans well. The main top (glasses) and bottom (plates, bowls, etc.) racks are both difficult to load. Glasses and mugs do not sit/fit well in the top rack- they fall over, and are often unstable. The bottom rack has too little space for bowls and other containers, and these are awkward to place where the plates are meant to go.
The other wierd issue is that it requires rinse aid, and won't operate without it (you can override ths, but I had to go online to find out how. These issues are easilly addressed. Why hasn't Bosh done that?

Does a great job, very quiet. Only reason not 5 star is shortest cycle is an hour and 14 minutes. Our older Frigidaire had a 35 minute cycle that got the job done, albeit noisy.

Bought as replacement for an older Bosch diswasher that began leaking at the sump seal.
Pros:
Quiet- I did save the insulation from the previous machine (this model did not have the insulation included) and it fit perfectly. Indicator light shining on floor reminds you that the machine is operating.
Cleans efficiently and dries even plastics well- We rarely have large loads and use the 1 hour and extra dry cycle.
3 Racks- Top rack works well to keep small items like lids secure.
Installation- Straight forward replacing old with new.
Con: There is no visible display from the outside (other than the bottom floor light) showing how much time remains for a cycle.
Overall- Pleased with the quality and efficiency.

What more could you possibly want? Our previous dishwasher ( which shall be nameless) would clean the dish load - sometimes. It would not stop in the middle of a washing cycle - sometimes. Our new Bosch 300 is, as review title said performs well every time it's used. Quiet, cleans the dirty dishes and is definitely dependable. Thank you Bosch 300!

I replaced an aged Kenmore Elite with this model. WOW, why didn't I do this sooner? The Bosch is quiet and does a great job. The salesperson stated it didn't have a heater which was a bit incorrect. This dishwasher has a heater for the wash water but not for performing the drying function. The engineering is that the stainless-steel cools faster than the dishes which then draws the moisture from the plates to the walls and drains away. I found this to work quite well. This dishwasher does have a proprietary power plug. The dishwasher came with the cord which plugs into a standard outlet. If your dishwasher is hardwired you will need to purchase a hardwire kit. It was priced ~$20-25 which I thought was reasonable. It was well made and was wired up quickly.

Cleans even baked on dishes. Takes over 2 hours for a normal cycle, but well worth it for the clean. Love the upper flatware rack. Makes putting utensils away so easy.
Cons: top dish rack is not easy to arrange. Really bad design for stemware.
There is a strong petroleum like smell immediately after opening the front door after cleaning. Hoping it dissipates with time.
