I have had this for almost 2 years now and the Refrigerator seems to perform as it is supposed to. Food stays cold and the Freezer holds at the correct temperature. The only issue I find is that the Ice Maker does not make the greatest cubes and they tend to cluster together in the tray the ice falls into. The water dispenser located on the inside of the unit makes for an aesthetically beautiful design.

This fridge is fine. It keeps things cold and it's okay. You do get what you pay for though. We've had consistent issues with the ice maker and already had to replace it. We also have issues with the freezer door being shut but no being sealed. The front door also often won't shut. It's the little things with this fridge and honestly I wish I just would've spent 2x more and gotten something better cause this thing is not awesome

This refrigerator works fantastically. With 2 independent compressors, you never have to worry about things getting too cold in the fridge or not cold enough in the freezer. Additionally, it has the capability of producing large amounts of ice in a relatively small timeframe.

Very happy with the purchase of the Bosch counter depth refrigerator. Really good use of space inside. Plenty of room in both the refrigerator and freezer. Ice maker produces nice small cubes. Fruit and vegetables stay fresh longer. WiFi enabled. Clean look with the water filter on the interior. Pro handles a plus as well. Finger print resistant finish makes cleaning easy. Would highly recommend.

This is a nice refrigerator lots of storage space. The flex bar in the back may or may not be useful to people. If you have a lot of tall items it may not work for you. Otherwise the doors have a ton of storage.Like most French style refrigerators the freezer is small. Much smaller than I had anticipated coming from a side-by-side. You have to be very organized. There is no room for "stocking up" in the freezer. The water dispenser is inside the fridge which I like. The ice is inside the freezer which takes a ton of space. But it produces nice shaped cubes. No crushed ice. I don't mind that the water and ice are not in the door. That's the the trade off for more refrigerator space. Lists of drawer space and temperature controls. I've had two service calls in the first six months, the first was because the doorhandles were stripped during installation and the second was the water dispenser was broken. I purchased this during Covid 2021 based on availability and coordination with my dishwasher and stove. Overall I'm fine with this refrigerator I hope it lasts a long time.

We chose the B36C81SNS model as part of a complete kitchen renovation, and are really pleased with its design and performance after nearly two years of use. Highly accurate temperature controls, water filtration and dispensing, fruit and meat freshness/compartments, adjustability of shelving, superior ice production and style, and benefits of dual compressors all have lived up to hopes and expectations. Minor quibble with the right fridge door needing an extra push to close, but it's a minor adjustment. Fantastic product.

I really like my bosch refridgerator! If I could suggest a small change, it would be less parts on the vegatable/fruit drawers for ease of cleaning. I have to take a flat screwdriver and pry the front off the drawers to clean all the little pieces that become trapped between. Liquid is worse. Also, my fruit saver with charcoal inserts does not see to perform that well. The indicator is still showing "fresh" after almost 2 years.

We've been using this refrigerator for a little over a year. We are quite happy with it overall. It is more of a counter depth style but you wouldn't know it the cubit feet are smaller because the layout and organization, the adjustable shelves, and the ability to visualize what you actually have in your refrigerator is great. The stainless is been easy to keep clean. The crisper drawers really do keep our produce edible for a longer time. Even though it cost me more I love the professional handles because they match the handles on my professional range nearby. The only complaint, and I had read it before I purchased the refrigerator, was that you really do have to make sure that the doors aren't left a jar at all. There is an alarm that beeps if this happens, and it does, as well as your ability to program your phone and an app to notify you as well.

Very Disappointed!

I have bought Bosch products in the past and have had good expierences. We remodeled our kitchen and used all Bosch and Thermador products. Unfotunately, this refrigerator and has had problems from the beginning. As soon as I received it the door was scratched, then the rubber seal was coming off and has also has torn. The icemaker has broken down several times and was replaced after trying to repair it. In under a year the ice maker broke again! Customer service has been a nightmare. I have been trying to resolve the issue for 8 weeks and they still have not replyed to my request. After all this, I found out that Bosch has discontinued my refrigerator model and now I know why. I have read some reviews and it looks like I'm not the only one who has had these problems with this model. It's a shame because this was an expensive appliance and I can't even have ice!

We have purchased Bosch appliances before and had a good track record. But this refrigerator is a big disappointment. Initially it made ice and then it quit making ice consistantly. Eventlually it quit making Ice altogether. We did all the recommended things including totally emptying the refrigerator and turning it off in case the water line was frozen. It did no good. Will never recommend that anyone purchase a Bosch refrigerator.

Compressor failed after 18 months

We have been without a refrigerator for 2 months, this is the second "high end" refrigerator we bought in the last 4 years, the days of quality appliances are no longer. We went with Bosch for its reputation for quality and customer service only to have the compressor fail after 18 months. The only help Bosch could provide where phone numbers for service providers that don't service our territory, don't return calls or miss appointments. With the poor response from Bosch our sales representative asked that we request a replacement, that request has gone unanswered from Bosch. I finally found a tech that can help but he is booked out. My advice to anyone buying a new appliance is buy the warranty, mini fridge and a chest freezer.

We wanted a built in sleek look with out the price that comes with a built in! I love the inside water--still get filtered water but it's hidden inside. Its of course not quite as convenient as being on the outside, but I think it's worth it. This is the first counter depth fridge I've had and it take some getting used to. The main reason I took off a star is because the produce drawers only open about half way. If you pull them all the way out, it's quite difficult to get them back on the tracks. The opening for the drawers is just not that big--compared to the depth of the drawer and what it could fit. I haven't quite figured out if the bar in the back with the extra little shelves is worth it or if it's just in the way. we love the ice! the size and style and it seems to be colder if that's possible?

We mostly love our new Bosch refrigerator, but it has one design flaw that we can't deny. The left vegetable drawer needs to be made about 1" narrower so that one does not have to open both doors of the refrigerator to simply remove an item from the left vegetable drawer. So close...DOH! It does everything else really, really well. One last point of contention to mention is the terrible HomeConnect App that Bosch is using to control the appliance and send you warnings if the door is left open. Great idea, but terrible execution! We still only have it working on one phone and gave up after hours wasted.

Got new appliances and knew I had to get this refrigerator. I have now owned it for a month and I think every detail was thought through. The water dispenser on the inside of the fridge is great, and gives a clean appearance to the outside. The drawers bottom drawers are great size for fruits and vegetables and you can even control the settings of these for whatever your needs are (you can even do this remotely from the app). The deli meat/cheese drawer is conviently located. Each drawer and shelf is easily moved/removed door for what your needs may be and for easy cleaning. The freezer has two drawers, the bottom for big built items, which contain a separator, a drawer with container for ice cubes (and a scoop, how nice) as well as additional storage and a too narrow drawer for ice pops, small freezer goods, and anything that may get lost. Overall I'm extremely pleased with this refrigerator and would highly recommend.

This fridge/freezer is really beautiful. Elegant and clean, with no Bosch logo (best part). Unfortunatley we had to replace with a ne unit (same model). The first one's compressor for the freezer dieid in the first 3 weeks, and could not be repaired. Bosch offered a full refund (buy back), and their customer support was very good. The process took a bit longer than hoped for, but I now have anew unit and I love it!

I purchased strawberries and they ended up at the bottom of the drawer until I remembered they were there two weeks later. I would have expected them to be rotten at that point, but they were just as sweet and fresh as they day I bought them. This goes for all of our fresh veggies and fruits! I love that I am not throwing away produce like I used to. It all gets eaten because it stays in perfect condition!

The freezer drawer is large. In the fridge compartment it is easy to see everything, so nothing gets shoved to the back & turns in to forgotten science projects. Very quiet.

My Fridge

I've had my refrigerator for two months now and everything that compelled me to purchase it is still very compelling. Quiet, great looks, space (plenty of room in the fridge and on the doors) open door alarms. The freezer as well has an abundance of room with a sliding shelf. The ice maker spits out solid balls about the size of a large marble (maybe a bit bigger). All in all this is a great product with many usable features.

I own a Bosch Dishwasher and love its quality and quiet. Our LG counter depth was nothing but problems- died after a year- rebuilt with new compressor, condensor and evaporator- lasted another 2 years. Bosch name and reputation convinced us to pay a bit more and we are very happy. Lets see how it does down the road. Then I will give 5 stars... Modern refrigerators dont seem to last like the old days..

Freezes food in the fridge compartment

We have had a terrible experience with this refrigerator and with Bosch customer service. This fridge is freezing the food in the refrigerator section. Had service out 5 times, they replaced every part over a span of nine months, meanwhile we couldnt use the fridge. They finally replaced with another fridge same model and guess what, it also freezes our food! Now we are a year and a half into this and still dont have a working fridge. Bosch refuses to credit back for the cost of the fridge. They insist on continuing to try to fix it to no avail. The last repair guy said he thought it was defective control boards they were getting from a new oversees manufacturer. Whatever it is, it is beyond rediculous to make a customer wait and wait and wait for a year and a half while they figure it out. We have literally lost hundreds of dollars of food and countless hours waiting for repair appointments. We have a case number they gave us for getting a credit back on the firdge but they dont return calls or emails and when you do finally get to speak with someone they say they have to ask "upper management" then you never get a call back. Their servive is awful. Meanwhile we are keeping our food in the garage fridge, a simple old GE that we've had for 20 years and does not freeze our food. Would never purchase anything Bosch ever again, worst appliance purchase.

We have had this refrigerator for a little over a year now and we have mixed feelings. 1. The biggest problem is that the ice maker has been VERY sporadic the last 3-4 months. Support told me to replace the water filter for $50. That did nothing. I had a service technician out and he said the water filter wouldn't have anything to do with it - just an upsell. He reset the board and it was working as normal. 3 weeks later it's not producing ice anymore. Just called in for another service apt to hopefully get a new icemaker put it. Absolutely insane for a $3500 refrigerator. 2. The door for being stainless steel dents insanely easy. I have two small dents and I'm expecting many more. Dissapointing. 3. The right side gets left open quite a bit due to the mechanism. It's not hard to close but doesn't close easily with a normal push. My wife hates it. I also bought a $1200 800 series Bosch dishwasher shortly after this refrigerator and I've had the pocket handle replaced twice due to cracking. I'm not sure if I would get a Bosch after these last two purchases.

Overall, very happy with our Bosch purchase. Lots of room, options to move shelves and the freezer has so many different bins/shelves to keep you organized. Also, the connection to the phone helps provide warnings if the door is open.
